OMG I never tried Turkey Ribs until I came here. They were delicious!! Tasted just like ribs, but I think they are healthier? Lol so good though. Mac and cheese was bangin and the baked beans were sweet and yummy.
The place is in the hood but it's worth it and I'll definitely be back. They have a nice little rooftop that can be reserved for events and a fully stocked bar. My new spot! -

I just had the most ridiculous experience. I've been to TDH several times, but after tonight I doubt I will be back.
My bf and I went to grab a late night snack because all platforms say TDH is open until 12AM. It was around 11ish when we pulled up. We were told to come around the side and then told that the kitchen was closed. Totally fine. My bf told the woman who relayed the information that they should post this on the website. She went on to catch an attitude and closed the door. He went inside after her to ask for the manager. She gave no information and eventually started insulting him and his outfit. They go back and forth - she holds nothing back and we walk out again.
She walks out after us and eventually the entire evening crew comes out to add their two cents. I do believe one gentlemen was trying to quell the situation however, she actually got the point where the threatened to jump my boyfriend, with the rest of the employees.
I've never had an experience where I've seen anyone be threatened by an employee, but after that, I got upset. Her and a couple other employees antagonized us even after we were on the sidewalk trying to catch an UBER.
Overall, the food may be good, but not worth the lack of professionalism from the staff. Especially compared to what we are used to from this particular establishment.
Disappointing, especially because we make an effort to frequent this place because it is black owned. However threats from anyone is something we won't accept. -

I thoroughly enjoy the camaraderie at TDH. When I visit, I usually sit on the rooftop and enjoy the view. I've been plenty of times before, but I thought I should give a review of why this place deserves a visit from you (the reader)!
Happy Hour in ATL can be very overrated. There are a number of places mid/downtown that advertise a Happy Hour, but they usually end rather early. Monday-Friday from 4-8p, TDH is giving you $5 specials that include both food (which is rare) + drinks. It's a deal you just cannot beat, honestly.
I usually have the wings or the fish sandwich as a good option. And the Long Island as my choice of drink. It's truly a good time every time I visit. And for about $15, you can walk out with a nice buzz and a bite to eat. -

I had lunch with a couple of friends here one Saturday afternoon. I heard great things about the restaurant beforehand so I was excited to try it. Parking was a bit of a challenge so we ended up parking at a paid lot nearby.
The entrance to the restaurant is odd as it's slightly in the middle of cramped tables. We stood there for a few minutes and waited to be acknowledged or seated. We were told there were no available seats but we could stand by the bar until a table opened up. We waited maybe 15 minutes and we were seated. The employee who seated us took our drink orders and proceeded to assist at another table. Almost 15 minutes later another employee appeared and asked for our drink orders. Since we had been seated for a while, we decided to put in our food orders too.
Several of the menu items we wanted to try were out such as the turkey ribs, brisket, and the chicken sausage. We had a smoked wing plate ($14.99), a dry rub wings plate ($16.99), turkey burger plate ($9.99), peach cobbler ($3.99), banana pudding cheesecake ($6.49), and had a few rounds of cocktails such as The Perfect Atlantan ($10) and a Hennessy Peach Tea ($12). Everything was so delicious! The wings were everything! Crispy but juicy, seasoned well with the right hit of smokiness. The drinks packed a punch and the desserts were a great ending to the meal. I'd definitely recommend giving them a try! -

Had a amazing meal here. Ribs are fantastic. Very lively atmosphere. Plenty of big screen TVs to watch sports. Decent craft beer menu as well. Recommend these guys! Right off the freeway so easily accessible. That's all I feel like writing but yelp is asking for more so here it is blah blah blah. And here is another sentence to fill the space required apparently to leave a review. Hopefully this last night as well finish up the radio I need to do something else besides Write a novel here. Did I mention the beer menu? It was fantastic. Did I mention the ribs were amazing? Also there was a side of something I don't remember probably pretty good. Oh yeah it was mac & cheese. Is this enough yelp?
